NFTs

Once you’ve purchase your customized bike, Colnago will create a unique NFT of your very own bike that allows access to information in the digital passport of the bicycle, whose data is saved in the blockchain, via the Colnago app for iOS / Android smartphones. Information around manufacture, sales and ownership will be stored on MyLime’s blockchain-based platform where it can be accessed by anyone.

Components & Specs

  • Head Tube The new splitted headtube is now stronger, lighter and more customizable than ever. Parts are reduced from 8 (C64) down to 6, this way we are saving weight (less bonding area) and machining/gluing time.
  • SeatPost Based on the shape of the V3Rs seatpost, the semi truncated drop shape adds a bit of aero performance, while giving better vertical compliance compared to the previous round 31.6mm seatpost.
  • Fork Completely redesigned, it is more stiff and resistant and weighs 40 grams less. The C68’s fork has been fully redesigned, with an external rib-shape to give the rider more comfort (front stiffness) but also to increase the ride-quality (side stiffness).
  • Bottom Bracket Designed around our proven ThreadFit82.5, which is basically a PressFit with removable base sleeves, the bottom bracket lug is now more complex than ever. The cable guide, which was typically a bolt-on plastic part, is now molded into the lug – to save grams as well as to offer the biggest possible radius for the best shifting performance.
  • Wheels Choose your favorite- Campagnolo WTO, Shimano Dura-Ace C50, Zipp 303 Firecrest, Fulcrum Wind 40C or whatever wheel set you want.
  • Groupset Options: Sram Red eTAP, Shimano Dura Ace Di2 Disc 12s, Shimano Ultegra Di2 12s, or Campagnolo Super Record EPS
  • Saddle Options: Prologo Scatch, Selle Italia SLR Boost. What ever seat you like. SMP is our favorite saddle of choice.
  • Headset CeramicSpeed SLT (Solid Lubrication Technology) headset guaranteed for life, simplifying maintenance and reducing costs in the long term. The headset is composed of two identical bearings, made by CeramicSpeed using SLT technology.
  • Stem Multitool The cockpit integrates a neat multitool under the stem cap. While the tool itself can easily be removed to save a few grams, its carrier is actually a structural part of the fork, and can be replaced with a Colnago long fork expander.
  • Handlebar The drops have a 2cm flair (410mm top becomes 430mm bottom) with the exception of size 370 which has a 14mm flair. The reach is 80mm (75mm for size 370) and a drop of 122mm (119mm in size 370). The stem angle is 84 degrees. The Colnago CC.01 handlebar is lighter than the market average if compared to other internal-wiring optimized handlebars (weight 310g for size 110-410), and aerodynamically optimized, with a dedicated computer mount.
Colnago C68 lugged/multipieced frame

Why a Lugged / Multi-pieced Frame Instead of a Monocoque Design?

  • We can better control the lamination since the molds are smaller and fewer carbon parts compose the single component
  • We can use different proprietary technologies to achieve higher pressure inside the parts, which we can’t use on monocoque construction
  • We can be smarter in tuning the final product to match our customer target
