The founder and owner of Auburn’s longest standing bike shop. With more than 35 years in the cycling industry his expertise are far reaching. He is a passionate family man with a love for everything Italian – including the best bikes on the planet, Colnago. Bill is a Campagnolo guru, loves a good bottle of vino and traveling abroad. He has ridden in Spain, Germany, Italy, France and more. He has wined and dined with the Colnago family on numerous occasions and can answer nearly any cycling question that might come to mind, past present or future. But first and foremost he loves sharing the passion of cycling with the local community.
Our fittest employee will impress you on the road, the trail or at the work bench. Nick is a mere 20 years old and has great problem solving skills and mechanical aptitude with all things cycling. When he’s not running, riding (or eating) he’s busy turning wrenches in our shop and building custom wheels and Colnago road bikes with Campagnolo EPS, Shimano Di2 and the like. Got some strange noises from your bike or want somebody to chase on your next ride? Come see Nick at the shop!
Travis’ is a born and bred Auburnite. He grew up riding single track literally in his backyard. His first mountain bike came from Bicycle Emporium at a young age and since that day he has kept the wheels turning. Travis developed a higher passion for the sport while attending Sonoma State and has since worked in a handful of bike stores before managing Bicycle Emporium. He is the residential mountain biker in the store and is always happy to talk trails, suggested routes and anything mountain bike. Travis has dabbled in road riding, dirt jumping and more but now you’ll catch him rolling a gravel adventure bike or a full suspension Trek Remedy. Need anything or have any questions, he’s the guy.
Our shop dad… Tomac keeps everything in line in our service department. Highly organized and a can-do attitude, he’ll take on any and all repairs. When he’s not coaching the Folsom Jr Mountain bike kids club, or riding with his son he’s maintaining his own two wheeled machines that range from fat-tire snow bikes to gravel to mountain! Tomac will walk you through any issues on your bike and tell you the cause and the fix! His knowledge of products and brands is far reaching and he’s great at answering questions for riders of all ages.
Andrew is a Placer County kid with some major skills on the bike… when he’s not throwing down back flips at the bike park or kicking butt in high school he’s here at the shop turning wrenches with us. His mechanical aptitude for bicycle repair is very high and he will be happy you assist you with trouble shooting your poor shifting, getting your fork dialed in for the next ride or chasing down that pesky creak.
