FLIGHT TT \ Triathlon
Colnago’s new Flight time trial & triathlon frame has a unique one-piece bottom-bracket and seat tube that provides the most rigid and aerodynamic structure possible. Colnago used 3D design & Finite Element Analysis (FEM) to create an accurate, optimized carbon fibre composite lay-up for the Flight in the key zones where force is transmitted to the road for best ride and to reduce vibration & stress from irregular road surfaces. Flight has a seat tube with a sleek teardrop section, shaped to allow the rear wheel to come as close as possible, yet still respect all UCI rules for TT bikes. Flight comes with two carbon fibre seat posts: one with 77° seat angle for Triathlon and one with 74° seat angle for time trials.

Flight also has a teardrop section aero down tube, with a 1" 1/8 Flight Carbon fork for a narrower front section, rear B-Stay and rear chainstays in Colnago's distinctive Leaf shape. Fast and aerodynamic lines continue in 2009 for Colnago's Flight.
