Ernesto Colnago and his team designed and created Arte in Cambiago, Italy and the model features heat treated 6000 series triple butted Aluminum frame tubing, with top tube and down tubes in the special Colnago star section tube shape derived the legendary Dream, which provides more torsional frame stiffness. Colnago’s new Flight time trial & triathlon frame has a unique one-piece bottom-bracket and seat tube that provides the most rigid and aerodynamic structure possible. Colnago used 3D design & Finite Element Analysis (FEM) to create an accurate, optimized carbon fibre composite lay-up for the Flight in the key zones where force is transmitted to the road for best ride and to reduce vibration & stress from irregular road surfaces.

That’s why the C50 Pista has a larger 35mm seat tube and Colnago’s distinctive Leaf shape chain stays, with new oval 17mmX35mm insert to the bottom bracket.
